They divorced in 1939 and got united in the same year. Frida Kahlo used to paint coloured self-portraits that portrait identity, human body and death.
At the age of 47, Kahlo unexpectedly died from pneumonia. The last words in her diary were: “I hope exit is joyful and I hope never to come back.”
